Barrel Head Clocks

These clocks are made from the barrel heads of the burgundy barrels. Dents, cracks, stains, etc. are left intact in most cases. The backs (inside) of all clocks are sanded and reinforced to keep the head together since in most cases, pressure is the only thing that holds a barrel head together.
For the face end, the identifying markings, cooperage stamps, etc. are left intact. They are given a quick cleaning and a light coat of satin urethane.
Colors will vary from blonde to gray and, in the case of the non-facing end, sometimes stained to enhance the white oak.
Clocks will average 24 inches in diameter but vary from barrel to barrel and cooperage. Clocks weigh 12 pounds on average.

Clocks are sold individually and each one is unique. Clocks will typically ship within 1 week, delivery time will vary.

Note: Barrel heads are not always perfectly round, flat and perfectly shaped. There will often be variations between cooperages and the processes that each uses. These were formerly production wine barrels and we do not try to hide their history.
Clocks require 1 AA battery, not included.
